The Geriatric Medical Service is led by Dr. Yomi Oshinowo MD, a Physician with a special interest in cardiovascular risk reduction in older adults, polypharmacy in elderly Patients, osteoporosis and women’s health, the role of evidence-based medicine in frail elders and quality of life in dementia. We provide Specialized, Expert Care for Older Adults.

Our goal is to create comprehensive geriatric care plans designed to preserve independence and improve quality of life for geriatric patients. We provide longitudinal, comprehensive care to adults from health screening and prevention to care of complex, chronic illnesses over time.

We can help you with a personal program for wellness, screening for cancer, diagnosis and treatment of any adult condition (for example hypertension or depression), comprehensive management of risks for heart disease and stroke, and urgent care for common acute illnesses.We Work together to evaluate and treat health issues that become more common with aging such as:
